Brag Blog

Well, it's true.  I've actually accomplished a couple of things recently.  Chiefly, I ran a half-marathon. Whew!  And I was tired.  Truth be told, I was just running and managed to find myself behind a doughnut truck, and so I just ran after it until it stopped.  Can you believe I ran 13.1 miles for a doughnut?

Yes, I am the nervous one standing with my hands clasped at the starting line.

The BEST PART.  Yes, THE BEST PART was seeing my guys at the finish line.  They were cheering for me, and it made me feel so good.  I love 'em.  (Please excuse the hot mess picture.)

I also found these free end tables on Craigslist and liked their bones, so I went to work and sanded, painted, and stained them.

And now I love them.

And also, I love, love your end tables! Nice work!

You shouldn't call Noah a doughnut.
Kidding! Wow, that's truly awesome.
Nice tables too!
Happy New Year, sistah!

Amazing! I don't even know if doughnuts could inspire me to run that far.
Watch out for the talented Katie for 2011! Your nightstands are awesome.
Looks like you have already accomplished your NewYear's resolutions. . .now you can just sit back for the next 360 days.

Katie, way to go!! That's so great that you ran a half marathon! Running starts to get in your blood, huh? Especially after you run a race...it's much cooler to "train" for a race and experience that kind of atmosphere. Plus, regardless of what else you do during the day, you can always say you ran 13.1 miles.

Congrats on your half! No doughnut could ever get me to run 13.1 miles:) 'Sides, I'd've run so far that I'd probably eat said doughnut and throw it up out of sheer shock to my system:)
I want to hear more about LC - and I've gotta tell you about Taos too!
