Oh.... the memories that scenery brings to mind...
My advice for growing up in the desert is:
1-wear shoes, always wear shoes (but not shoes that need socks, just stock up on end of summer flip flop sales and it will last you all year... yes even in the winter)
2- don't touch anything pointy... it usually pokes back
3- enjoy the rain, there is NOTHING in this world that can compare to a good desert thunderstorm
4- can I suggest sunBLOCK
5- lizards can re-grow their tails... :)
