- you have to walk, I have to carry the baby
- I need you to be my big boy and carry this bag for me
- let me feed the baby and then I can help you
Calvin knows all about this. It happened to him when Wyatt was born. When Cyrus came along, he said, "Oh yeah, I've seen this before." And he just went about his business knowing that Mom still loves him, but has another ball to juggle. He already knows that he gets the nervous attention that Mom's love to dole out to their first-born. Where every new experience is a big deal.
Wyatt doesn't get the new experience attention
OR
the I-am-the-baby-attention.
So, he makes his own attention.
That's why Middle Children are awesome. (No offense to any Eldest or Babies reading this post). Middles know that in order to get some attention they have to make it good.
So, I get lots of eccentric moments of Wyatt drawing on his own face and hanging in his undies with his plethora of puppies.
And doing happy dances like this:
And that is why Wyatt is the Oreo Cream. And everybody loves the Oreo Cream.

Mmmmmmm.....oreos.
so true. thanks for helping me see my oreo cream in a different light!
That is so true. I was kind of the middle child too, and the most difficult to raise, according to my mom...maybe that's why! I should've learned Wyatt's fancy dancy moves. Maybe that would've helped my case.
That was sweet, Katie. I too love my little oreo cream. I can't imagine life without her!
I love your make-up in the last picture, awesome. It looks like you have been giving Wyatt lessons from your clogging class in college. He sure looks like a sweetheart.
Aww sweet. The creme is the best part!
I'm oreo cream too. I loved being a middle, a creative creamy middle! My sisters and brothers call it the "favorite". It's not being the favorite its just making yourself known. :) Here's to middle's!
Too cute ever. Wyatt sure is delicious!
that was sweet. you're a good mom. i'm going to go find an oreo to eat now.
Awww...LOVE it! I'm kinda the oreo cream too...and I vowed to make sure my oreo cream would never have to feel like the "forgotten" middle child! It makes it easy for now since she's the only girl!
We've entered that world too...I'm curious to see what that brings out in my little woman who already has herself some BIG personality! What a cute middle man you have. Love his face.
I am a middle child, but I was never told I was the Oreo creme. I like that. I am gonna tell LG that he lucked out with me.
The middle is tough, but it really does turn out the cream of the crop.
