Third Time is a Charm

Or
The Third Child is a Charmer

Seriously, look at this kid! He is adorable and lovable.

I could lie to you and tell you that everything is so hard and that three kids is working me over, but I gotta be honest. He's a good, sweet baby who must surely love his mama to go so easy on me.

I'm not saying that we don't have rough spots here and there, but mostly it's good. I guess I might finally be gaining a foothold in this mom-thing. Now, I can sit back and say, "Oh yeah, I've seen this before." (said when he had a blowout up his back). I can chill out when he starts to cry because I have finally realized that, "Hey, I guess since he doesn't speak, crying must be his language." I think that I may be fluent in baby language now. As a result, I have realized that holding the baby and doing the Electric Slide a ga-zillion times in a row to get him to calm down may not always be the answer.

Things are good. Life is good. My kiddos are good. My hubby is good.

Candy is good. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts are better.

My old couches are not good, no matter how many times you wash the cushion covers. Cleaning the baseboards and walls is not good. It's bad, real bad.

Is he telling me to sit on it? I think he is. That's okay, a looker like that can tell me whatever he wants.
Glad to hear he's taking it easy on you/you're taking it easy on yourself.

He is such a doll.

I remember when Josh was really little crying at the stake center, I was out in the hall, jumping from side to side, literally like a frog. Someone walked by and looked at me funny and I thought, "They must not have kids". Haha.

Ummm...have I congratulated you yet on this delicious little man? If not, I apologize. Reading is my forte - commenting is not. He is so handsome and I love that you are giving me some hope for easy transition to three little people in my home. Your blog, I have to say, is a favorite. I'll have to give the electric slide a go with this next babe; if nothing else it will be good for these growing hips and thighs!

He still looks like Shaf to me! I knew he was a keeper when I was in NY, he snuggled so nicely. Love!

After you've overdosed your child on ex-lax it has a way of chillin you out, doesn't it.

They can live through pretty much anything.

So why not enjoy it?

Baby #3 has to be good..it's a requirement in heaven.

#4..not as true. They just gotta be durable.

Beware.
